Why This Series? In the first lesson we note that "gospel" appears more often as a noun than any other part of speech. What does that mean? It means that the content of the gospel — what the gospel is and what it teaches — appears more than any other use. It would be a mistake, though, to assume that the gospel's meaning — it's reach — stops there. This series — "Evangelism In The Gospels & Acts" — is subtitled "Good News, The Gospel is A Verb" to emphasize this key thought: We must not only grasp the content — the what — of the gospel, we must also understand what the gospel was designed to do, how it changes our lives and, as we share the gospel, how it changes the lives of others.
